Project Overview

We carried out construction waste removal during a refurbishment and fit-out project associated with the former Calvary Hospital premises in Canberra, ACT.

  • Location: Canberra, ACT

  • Service: Commercial Construction Waste Removal

  • Project type: Hospital refurbishment & fit-out

  • Materials: Plasterboard, metal, timber & debris

  • Access challenge: Long carry to collection point

The Job

The work involved removing gyprock and plasterboard waste, scrap metal, timber offcuts and other construction debris from the rooms being worked on.

Our Approach

The collection point was a long way from the rooms where the waste was generated. Our team repeatedly carried bags and materials along the lengthy route, then loaded them into the ute. The carrying distance was one of the main challenges of the job.

The Result

We collected and removed construction debris from the work areas, handling the physical carrying and loading needed to get the materials off site.
